Departure on an international flight from El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá to board Turkish Airlines flight TK 800, departing at 4:35 PM, with a technical stop in Panama before continuing to Istanbul. It is recommended to arrive at the airline’s check-in counter at the airport at least 3 hours in advance for baggage check-in. Overnight on board.

Welcome to Turkey, a destination full of culture, history, and unique experiences, where the traditions of East and West come together.

Upon your arrival on an international flight at Istanbul Airport (IST) at 5:05 PM opened in April 2019 and recognized as the largest in Europe and one of the most important in the world you will need to complete immigration procedures and collect your luggage. Afterwards, proceed to the meeting point located at Exit Gate 9. There, you will meet our drivers for your transfer to the hotel. Arrival and accommodation.

DAY 3 • ISTANBUL

At the scheduled time, departure for the full-day excursion “Pearls of the Golden Horn and Bosphorus” (lunch not included). Departure is planned for approximately 8:00 AM (exact time to be confirmed by the guide). During the tour, you will visit the historic Jewish neighborhood of Balat and the Greek neighborhood of Fener, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Golden Horn. The tour will then continue to the Cathedral of St. George, the main seat of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate. Next, you will visit the Suleymaniye Mosque, a masterpiece by the Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan, renowned for having the largest dome among Istanbul’s mosques. Afterward, you will explore the Spice Bazaar, famous for its colorful and aromatic atmosphere, ideal for purchasing teas, herbs, dried fruits, traditional sweets, and spices. The excursion concludes with a boat cruise along the Bosphorus, the strait that divides the city between Europe and Asia, where you can admire Ottoman fortresses, palaces, mansions, and bridges connecting both continents. Transfer back to the hotel and overnight stay.

Optional excursion available: “JEWELS OF CONSTANTINOPLE” (includes lunch at a traditional restaurant). Departure at approximately 8:00 AM (exact time to be confirmed by the guide) for a tour of the historic city center, where you will see the diverse remnants of the different empires that shaped modern Istanbul: The Roman Hippodrome, once the social and sporting center of Constantinople for thousands of years, where you will also see the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Column of Constantine, and the German Fountain; the Blue Mosque, featuring more than 20,000 handmade ceramic tiles brought from Iznik; enjoy a panoramic view of Hagia Sophia, built in 537 as an architectural marvel that has served as a church, mosque, and museum. From the outside, the structure impresses with its massive dome, which was an extraordinary engineering achievement of its time and remains one of the largest domes in the world. The tour continues with the majestic Topkapi Palace, home to the Ottoman sultans for over 400 years. You will visit the beautiful royal gardens, kitchens, and treasury rooms. Discover the mysterious Harem, where the sultan’s wives and children lived, famous for its luxurious decoration. We then continue to the Church of Hagia Irene, a Byzantine church that was never converted into a mosque, and finish the tour at the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, where bargaining is a long-standing tradition. Return to the hotel.

Free day to enjoy the city at your own pace. Check-out from the room is at 12:00 PM (passengers may store their luggage while waiting for the transfer to the airport).


At the indicated time, transfer to Istanbul International Airport to board Turkish Airlines flight TK 694, departing at 6:25 PM to Cairo. Arrival is scheduled for 8:50 PM. Upon arrival, assistance will be provided by our Spanish-speaking representative, followed by transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 6 • CAIRO

In the morning, depart to visit the iconic Pyramids. Just 20 km from Cairo lies the majestic Giza Necropolis, one of the most impressive and essential sites in Egypt. There you will see the famous pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, along with the imposing Sphinx, a timeless symbol of Egyptian civilization. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay.


In the afternoon, there is an optional excursion available to the Museum of Civilizations and/or the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids.

DAY 7 • CAIRO – LUXOR

Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, assistance and transfer to the pier. Embarkation and lunch on board.In the afternoon, visit the temples of Luxor and Karnak. Dinner on board.

Full board on board. In the morning, crossing to the West Bank and start of the cruise sailing towards Esna. After passing through the lock, the journey continues to Edfu. Overnight on board.

Full board on board. In the morning, visit the Temple of the god Horus in Edfu. Continue sailing to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, visit the temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing to Aswan and overnight on board.

FLIGHT TICKETS

  • Flight schedules may be subject to changes without affecting the date of operation.
  • Airfare taxes and program taxes are subject to change without prior notice. In the event of an increase in airfare taxes, airline fees, hotel taxes, governmental contributions, or other charges imposed by the airline or authorities, the passenger must assume the difference, even if a partial or full payment has already been made.
  • The purchased ticket does not allow mileage accumulation.
  • Issued airline tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, not subject to review, and do not allow route changes or travel date modifications.

HOTELS

  • The hotels mentioned in quotations or programs are for reference purposes and are among the most commonly used for these types of tours. However, at the time of service confirmation, assigned hotels may be replaced with others of similar category and standard.
  • Triple rooms: in addition to the double bed, an extra rollaway bed will be provided, subject to hotel availability at the time of booking.
  • Special requests such as cribs, bed type (Twin, King, Queen), or specific room preferences are subject to hotel availability at the time of reservation and final confirmation.

ITINERARY

  • Modifications to the itinerary are not permitted. If you wish to add extra nights or services, you must request a regular program.
  • Medical assistance applies only to the dates of the purchased program and includes worldwide coverage, except in the passenger’s country of residence.
  • Our departures operate with a minimum of 20 passengers. If this minimum is not reached, the program may be rescheduled to the nearest available departure date or canceled.
  • Included tours and visits are provided on a regular/shared basis, not privately.
  • Passengers with disabilities must travel with their own assistance equipment (such as canes, foldable wheelchairs, crutches, etc.) and must be accompanied by a companion who can assist them throughout the trip. Please note that some tours and attractions may not be wheelchair accessible, which may limit full participation in certain activities.
  • The itinerary is subject to modifications due to weather conditions, road conditions, operational issues, availability, or unforeseen events at the time of booking.
  • The order of activities may vary; however, all included services and experiences will be maintained.
  • Shared services: Some services are provided on a shared basis with other passengers. Transportation, guided tours, and excursions are conducted in groups, so schedules and routes may be adjusted to ensure proper coordination of services.
  • Travel documents: Once full payment has been confirmed, final travel documents will be sent approximately 6 days prior to departure.

TOURS AND EXCURSIONS

  • The guide or local operator may adjust the order of visits for logistical, operational, or weather-related reasons, always respecting the contracted services.
  • If any activity cannot be carried out due to force majeure, the corresponding refund will be processed only for the service not provided, when applicable.
  • We are not responsible for tourism services contracted directly by the passenger with external providers.

CHILD POLICY

  • Infants (under 1.99 years old): Only airfare taxes apply. The exact amount will be confirmed at the time the ticket is issued. However, if the infant requires a special seat or any additional equipment for transportation, please inform us at the time of booking so we can accommodate these needs whenever possible.
  • Children (ages 2 to 5): Children in this age group pay the child fare and are not entitled to an extra bed.
  • Children (6 years old and above): Children in this age group pay the adult fare.
  • Room occupancy: The maximum number of children sharing a room with their parents is subject to each hotel’s policy.
  • Documentation: All minors must travel accompanied by one of their parents or legal guardians. At check-in, they must present a valid ID card, passport, or birth certificate.

VISAS AND DOCUMENTATION

  • A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity at the time of travel is mandatory. To confirm the reservation, a copy of the passport must be provided. If the passport is not yet available, a copy of an official identification document showing the passenger’s full legal name may be submitted temporarily.
  • It is the passenger’s responsibility to consult with Colombian immigration authorities regarding travel requirements according to their immigration status, whether as a Colombian resident or a foreign national. De Viaje Con recommends that passengers review travel restrictions, warnings, visa requirements, permits, announcements, and travel advisories issued by the Colombian government before booking any international trip.

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS

  • Payments made to confirm a reservation are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing by the provider’s specific conditions.
  • Confirmation of services is subject to timely payment according to the dates established in the quotation.
  • Prices are expressed in USD and must be paid in Colombian pesos according to the exchange rate (TRM) applicable on the payment date.
  • The first deposit must be 25% of the total amount.
  • 125 days before departure: 40% must be paid.
  • 95 days before departure: 60% must be paid.
  • 65 days before departure: 80% must be paid.
  • 50 days before departure: 100% must be paid.
