After this visit, we will continue to the Opium House Museum before heading to the Mae Chan district, located north of Chiang Rai. From there, we will start a walk through narrow hill streets to reach the villages of the Akha and Yao ethnic minorities. To end the day, we will visit a Karen village, originally from Tibet, whose members emigrated to Thailand from Myanmar centuries ago due to political conflicts and persecution. The women of the tribe, known as the "giraffe women" for the brass rings that adorn their necks, provide a striking image. Dinner at the hotel and overnight accommodation.

Afterward, we will embark on a road trip to Chiang Mai, which will take approximately three hours. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the majestic Wat Doi Suthep, a temple located 1,000 meters above sea level on a forested mountain. To reach the top, you must climb 306 steps guarded by Naga serpents, but the panoramic view of the city and the impressive images and frescoes adorning the temple will make it all worthwhile. After the visit, we will head to the hotel for check-in. Dinner at the hotel and overnight stay.
