DAY 2 • BOGOTÁ

At the scheduled time, we will begin our excursion with a visit to the majestic Monserrate Hill, where we will ascend by funicular or cable car, depending on the participants' preference. From the summit, we will enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Bogotá and its surroundings—a landscape that blends the modernity of the city with the natural beauty of the Andes. Next, we will head to the Gold Museum, a landmark that houses the largest and most valuable collection of pre-Hispanic goldsmithing in the world. This museum is a true cultural treasure, offering insight into the history and art of Colombia’s indigenous civilizations through thousands of gold, tumbaga, and other metal pieces. The tour will continue with a walking tour of Bogotá's Historic Center, an area that preserves much of the city's colonial heritage. During this walk, we will discover the main architectural, historical, and cultural attractions, such as the magnificent Colón Theater, one of the most important in the country; the San Carlos Palace, the seat of Colombia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the iconic Bolívar Square, the political heart of the city; and the Primatial Cathedral of Colombia, an imposing neoclassical temple dating back to the 19th century.

On Mondays, the Gold Museum is closed and will be replaced by the Botero Museum.
On Sundays and public holidays, the number of national visitors increases, so it is recommended to purchase the Fast Pass supplement for Monserrate.

DAY 3 • BOGOTÁ

At the scheduled time, we will depart from the meeting point toward Zipaquirá, located 49 km north of Bogotá, to visit the iconic Salt Cathedral. During the journey, we will enjoy panoramic views of the Bogotá Savannah. The Salt Cathedral is recognized as one of Colombia's most outstanding architectural and artistic achievements. Built inside a mine at a depth of 180 meters, its interior houses a Stations of the Cross, a Dome, a Choir, and the Narthex Complex. Its cultural, religious, and historical value is immeasurable. Additionally, it is considered the first tourist wonder of Colombia and was a candidate for one of the seven wonders of the modern world. After the visit, we will return to Bogotá.

HOTELS

The hotels listed are for reference only; they are the most commonly used for this type of tour. However, when confirming services, it is important to consider that the confirmed hotels may be different but of the same category.
Double rooms: Confirmed with one double bed. If you prefer two single beds, please make the request in advance, as it is subject to hotel availability and may result in price differences.
Triple rooms: An additional rollaway bed will be provided along with a double bed. Availability of this extra bed is subject to hotel confirmation at the time of booking. If you prefer three single beds, please note that this request is subject to hotel policies and may involve changes to the room category and price.
Services such as cribs or bed types (Twin, King, Queen) are subject to availability at the hotel at the time of booking.
Check-in begins at 3:30 PM, and check-out must be completed before 12:00 PM.

ITINERARY

Transfers are available from 6:00 AM to 8:59 PM. Outside of these hours, an additional charge will apply. For extra nights, transfers are not included in the package and can be arranged at an additional cost.
The contracted transportation allows one piece of luggage up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and one carry-on up to 8 kg (17 lbs) per person. In case of excess luggage, the possibility of including it without additional cost will be evaluated, depending on vehicle capacity.
It is recommended not to leave valuables in the transport. The operator is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of valuable items.
The itinerary is subject to changes due to weather conditions, road conditions, operational situations, availability, or unforeseen events at the time of booking.
The order of activities may vary; however, the content and included services will remain the same.
Shared or regular services: Some services are provided in shared mode with other passengers. Transportation, guided tours, and excursions are conducted in groups, so schedules and routes may be adjusted for proper service coordination.
Travel documents: Once full payment has been confirmed, the final travel documents will be sent approximately 6 days before departure.

TOURS AND EXCURSIONS

The guide or local operator may adjust the order of visits for logistical, operational, or weather-related reasons, always respecting the contracted services.
If an activity cannot take place due to force majeure, a refund will be processed only for the service not provided, when applicable.
We are not responsible for tourist services booked directly by the passenger with external providers.

CHILD POLICY

Infants (under 2 years old): Only pay airport taxes. The exact amount will be confirmed at the time of ticket issuance. However, if the infant requires a special seat or any equipment for the vehicle, please inform us at the time of booking to ensure we can accommodate these needs.
Children (2 to 10 years old): Children in this age group pay the child rate.
Children (11 years and older): Children aged 11 and above pay the adult rate.
Room occupancy: The maximum number of children sharing a room with parents is subject to each hotel’s policies.
Documentation: All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. At check-in, they must present a valid ID, passport, or birth certificate.

VISAS AND DOCUMENTATION

It is essential to have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity at the time of travel. To confirm the reservation, a copy of the passport must be sent; if you do not yet have one, you may send a copy of an official identification document where the passenger’s name is correctly shown.
Passengers are responsible for verifying, according to their nationality and country of residence, whether a visa or other documents are required to enter the travel destinations and ensuring that all documentation is valid at the time of travel.

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS

Payments made to confirm the reservation are non-refundable unless the specific provider conditions state otherwise in writing.
Confirmation of services is subject to timely payment according to the dates established in the quotation.
The initial deposit must be 10% of the total package price plus the full cost of the airline ticket.
45 days before the departure date, 100% of the total package must be paid.
