During the journey, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Bogotá Savanna. The Salt Cathedral is recognized as one of Colombia’s most outstanding architectural and artistic achievements. Built inside a mine 180 meters underground, its interior features the Stations of the Cross, a Dome, a Choir, and the Narthex Complex. Its cultural, religious, and heritage value is immeasurable. It is also considered the first wonder of Colombia and was once a candidate for the New Seven Wonders of the World. After the visit, we’ll have free time for lunch (lunch not included) before continuing to Bogotá’s Historic Center. There, we’ll take a walking tour around Bolívar Square and its surroundings, where we’ll admire emblematic landmarks such as the National Capitol, the House of the Comuneros, the Santa Clara Church Museum, and the Casa de Nariño the presidential residence and birthplace of Antonio Nariño, a hero of Colombia’s independence.
